April 26, a Community Hymn Festival was led by AGO President John Walker, accompanied by John King, music minister at Hitchcock Presbyterian Church, Scarsdale. The choir was composed of Guild members and singers from various churches and was joined by an enthusiastic congregation. Hymns were interspersed with lections read by guest pastors and chapter members. King, who is dean of the Westchester chapter, accompanied the singers on the church's 3-manual tracker action Walker organ. Refreshments were served after the program.
